Kornelia Mordarska is the founder of Women’s Club, an international women’s organisation supporting ambitious women in business and leadership. Alongside Women’s Club, Kornelia is also the founder of Central Impact CIC and the owner of Impressa Fashion, a luxury womenswear brand specialising in tailored women’s suits. Through her work, she builds platforms and brands that empower women to lead with clarity, confidence and purpose.
What led you to where you are today?
Kornelia: When I began to develop intensely, I realised how powerful our environment truly is. There was no high-level developmental space around me, so I decided to create one. That decision led to the creation of the Women’s Club, which quickly began to scale. Central Impact CIC was a natural continuation of that mission.
How would you describe your journey in business?
Kornelia: There have been many defining moments. The most important lesson? We learn nothing from success. Failures teach us everything. They build character, competence and the real strength of a leader. You have to be brave and keep going, even when it’s uncomfortable.
What advice would you give to women at the beginning of their journey?
Kornelia: Be scared, and do it anyway. Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is action despite fear.
What does personal branding mean to you?
Kornelia: Personal branding is a currency of trust. It’s how the world sees your value before hearing your offer. It allows you to scale influence, attract the right people, build authority and grow a business aligned with your vision. Today, personal branding is not optional; it’s foundational.
Is there anything you would do differently if you were starting again?
Kornelia: I would start with a clear goal, strong business foundations, clear rules, a well-defined strategy, and well-drafted contracts. From day one, I would invest in business education to understand the market, scaling and structure-building much faster.
